This wine is the coming together of five parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Wilyabrup and Walcliffe sub-regions, old vine Merlot and Petit Verdot both from Wilyabrup. The fruit was hand harvested and fermented with wild vineyard yeasts, hand plunged and gently basket pressed. The wine was aged for 21 months in subtle French oak barriques, 12% of which were new, and bottled unfined, unfiltered and unadulterated. 

Elegant and pure with great complexity reflected of the cooler 2017 vintage, this wine will drink well immediately and will also reward careful cellaring for many years to come.
