Margaret River, Western Australia

We acknowledge the Wadandi people of the region as the traditional custodians of the land, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future.

Nestled beside the Calgardup Brook and framed by forest and vineyard, the Mr Barval cellar door offers a relaxed, welcoming space to enjoy handcrafted wines at your own pace.

This summer, we’re excited to introduce CIBO, our Italian-inspired food van serving fresh kitchen-garden produce, simple local snack plates and slow-fermented pizzas.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick flight or settling in for a long, lazy sunset with good food, good wine and good company, our little patch of Margaret River is yours to enjoy.

We invite you to connect with the passionate duo behind Mr Barval Wines.

Join owner and winemaker Rob and his wife Kellie as they welcome you to their farm and share their deep love for the land and the craft of winemaking. Begin your tasting with a stroll through the vineyard and learn about the dedication that goes into nurturing their homegrown vines. Along the way, meet their friendly pygmy goats and try your hand at catching Marron in the lake. You’ll also tour the winery, where traditional winemaking techniques are employed to handcraft each bottle of Mr Barval wine.

As the day winds down, soak in the spectacular sunset reflected across the water while enjoying a flight of wine paired with fresh, locally sourced produce.

'the gallery'

dillybag collective

We're thrilled to showcase a unique collection of art from the remote West Daly Region, featuring works from Nganambala, Wudicuplyderr, Merrepen and Nemarluk.

Kellie (aka Mrs Barval!) has been supporting these communities through not-for-profit exhibitions and a women’s wellness program that fosters cultural pride and financial independence through art.

Our Colour Story exhibition highlights traditional weaving and bush colors, alongside works from Kira Kiro Artists of Kalumburu, Wadeye Men's Shed, Warlu artists of Yuendumu, Indigenous titles from Magabala Books and traditional bush balms from Purple House and Kalumburu.
