This wine is the coming together of five parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Wilyabrup and Walcliffe sub-regions, old vine Merlot and Petit Verdot both from Wilyabrup. The fruit was hand harvested and fermented with wild vineyard yeasts, hand plunged and gently basket pressed. The wine was aged for 21 months in subtle French oak barriques, 19% of which were new, and bottled unfined, unfiltered and unadulterated.
Elegant, pure and with great complexity, length and depth of palate, this wine reflects the stunning 2018 vintage. This wine will drink well immediately and will also reward careful cellaring for many years to come.
